so here is my first of many posts for this new blog i decided to create. everyone needs a wedding blog right? i am sure many people like to keep up with what is going on? so here is a peek in to everything from YES to I DO. i really do not know where to start. i am so happy right now, i keep looking forward to the future and everything that lies ahead. between school, working, being a mommy, and doing a little photography on the side i will be working on planning a wedding. shannon is in iraq right now and is being missed by many especially me. we are very excited and happy. today i sent him a christmas tree, silver and gold ornaments, and a shiny gold star for a topper. I am really going to miss him this christmas. this will be the first year i will be spending christmas with loved ones without my grandma, i can imagine her in heaven right now...what a vision it is. i know at this time next year shannon will be home and we will be spending christmas together, that brings a smile to my face. i knew when i met shannon my life would change, i am so happy we found eachother. i prayed for guidance and fulfillment. i prayed to be content and happy. i asked God to give me someone i passionately loved and cared deeply for. i prayed for someone who would love me for me, who would love corbin and God gave me shannon. i could not be more thankful!
so after a walk around the national arboretum and a dreamy proposal at the capitol columns the amazing, cute, funny and talented kristen leigh did our e-session in DC the day after i said yes! below are some photos that captured this memorable day. i love to look at these and look at the expressions on shannons face.
