From time to time i go through my phone and look at all the pictures of shannon and i. no matter what time or day there are always reminders of him! dried flowers, his ireland shirt he left beind, pictures every where, and constant thoughts of all the events in this year that are to come.

A step back in time, here is my grandma virginia mae who went to heaven last july! dang it all she made a cigarette look good didn't she? i miss her so much!

 i have thought about her a lot! i miss running in to her on purpose at the local goodwills, miss seeing her sitting at burger king eating an original chicken sandwich! most of all i miss her always making me dye her hair with store bought color! she always said she liked it! at the time i sighed and rolled my eyes, how i would give anything to dye her hair again?

I am not above splurging but when  I stumbled upon these and checked the price I said, "these are going home with me, and they better have my size!" Let me just say, they came home with me! Nestled in the Great Smoky Mountains of Western North Carolina, Lake Junaluska!. I visited Lake Junaluska a few weeks ago and absolutely fell in love. I spoke with Shannon as soon as I could and told him I knew where we could get married! My mom, myself and our friend Judy strolled Lake Junaluska on a warm saturday afternoon! I wanted to go in the memorial chapel and was hoping the door would be unlocked...I walked up to the door and twisted the door handle *eyes closed* and it opened! i was so excited, then I stepped in and quickly became emotional and moved! I don't know what it was but I had an instant vision...these are things I wish I could share with Shannon! I miss him and so does everyone else! We can't wait to share our special day with you here at Lake Junaluska! Welcome to the closest thing to Heaven...the Blue Ridge Mountains!
