amanda & scott {married}

entertainment: porch dog revival band
flowers: watsons florist

on saturday amanda and scott tied the knot. when i woke up saturday morning it was breezy, gloomy and a little cold. i instantly said a little prayer...for the rain to stop and for it to warm up a little bit. sure enough as the day progressed it warmed up, it stopped raining and the clouds hung around which made for great photo opportunities. so on to the days events in the order in which they occurred.

jennifer hudspeth of country at heart photography was my helper for the day. we had a game plan, we were literally in two different places all day except for the ceremony and the reception. we were lucky enough to be in two places at the same time to get prep shots and what not. so here is mrs. jennifer

i loved the reception setup in the barn loft, with all the random tea kettles, vases and mason jars which were filled with flowers!

 check out this cake!

the horses made a special appearance as well as some baby calves. jennifer will have to share those!

amanda working hard on the hay bale couches! she is a true country girl who wanted to make sure things got done! i adore her!

her bridesmaids were gorgeous and i loved their lilly pulitzer dresses

roxie loves her amanda

watsons florist of elkin did a great job on the flowers

goodness gracious amanda is stunning! her smile and dimples are to die for! scott is such a gentleman.

amandas new father in law with the classic mustache and her dad archie...this was such a wonderful wedding. a barn out in the country adjacent to amandas parents house. it was beautiful and perfect! it was relaxing and it felt good to be back home in familiar territory in the company of old friends!

amandas brother clint and his girl alaina! i made them dance!

i love sneaking shots when they aren't even looking

time for the toast and cake

their cake was a 4 tier multi flavor cake of pure deliciousness. flavors were carrot cake, vanilla and chocolate

cigars anyone? i loved all the details at the reception

this is love

ever think about how precious our hands are?

amanda and her dad danced to red sovines daddys girl, i cried and so did they!

scott and amanda with his new in-laws {they are sweet}
