hurricane : kitchen : wedding stuff

our kitchen has come a long way. we went from a brown wall paper disaster to a nice clean fresh blue and white kitchen. i am still adding some color along the way. speaking of color i will be sharing some pics of some chair cushions i bought but sadly had to return because shannon freaked. most men would not let their girl in the house with these cushions granted he was at work. he sat on the cushion one time and pretty much told me i could have color, but to tone it down and NO RUFFLE. so enjoy more of our kitchen progress pics, hurricane irene and some wedding stuff!

ok time for some DIY wedding stuff...love doing stuff like this...it eases my spirit

 loving the numbers here! frames from dollar tree $11 and numbers from michael's crafts $3 and paint from LOWES my favorite home improvement store $5 a can. a very good investment and it took me maybe 1 hour to complete!
